NATO Exhibition will be inaugurated Monday, at National History Museum
An exhibition which offers information on North-Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), on international partners and on the Alliance present operations will be inaugurated, Monday 17 of March 2008, at National History Museum of Romania. At the opening, there will be present NATO Deputy Secretary General, Ambassador Claudio Bisognero, the Minister of Defense, Teodor Melescanu, Representatives of Academic and University Area, but also Representatives of cultural institutions.
The Exhibition "Securing our Future" realized by NATO's Public Diplomacy Division, combine media elements – photos, written content, videos, 2 touch-screen which will offer information on the Alliance, in two NATO officials languages – English and French, but also Romanian.
During the exhibition, the public will see projections and documentary films (available also on DVD) about antiterrorism fight, about NATO and the assistance offered in Afghanistan on different themes, but also about naval forces. Also, it will be offered to the public postal cards and a DVD with virtual tour of the exhibition.
The exhibition is opened at the Museum, in the period 17-29 of March, the entry is free, and during the NATO Summit (2-4 of March) the exhibition will be hosted in the Palace of the Parliament.
