The Secretary of State in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Raduta Matache, declared, on Monday, at Iasi, that Romania intents to open a diplomatic mission in Afghanistan, as a sign of stability of this country. "We are now trying to find the human and financial resources and I think that until the end of the year or at the beginning of next year, the latest, Romania will have an embassy in Afghanistan", told Raduta Matache.
The declaration was made during the Conference „NATO Lessons in Afghanistan- Romanian contribution on the stability, security and global peace".
