The Albanian Prime-Minister Sali Berisha has ensured the NATO states, on Wednesday that he will do his best so that his country would be invited to access the Euro-Atlantic structures during the summit to take place in Bucharest, on early April, but he obtained no guarantee in such matter.  “Tirana will do its best endeavours so that it would be worth being invited to negotiate the NATO accession terms”, Berisha stated further to two hours of discussions with the Alliance’s Secretary General Jaap de Hoop Scheffer and the representatives of the 26 member states.
The Prime-Minister has promised that the officials in Tirana will adopt two important laws upon the judicial system and the electoral system before the summit in Bucharest.

He also added that the ambassadors have congratulated Berisha on the progresses achieved in the sectors to be reformed so that Albania would be invited for the summit in Bucharest. “We would like these reforms to be irreversible”, Scheffer underlined.
