Free days and attractive opportunities for Bucharest citizens during the NATO Summit

NATO Summit organizers plan to create traffic decongestion in Bucharest during the three – day Summit in April. Therefore, they have already discussed with several travel agencies about the possibility of offering attractive touristic packages, and with malls to announce a sales period and coupon cinema tickets. “MAE has already transmitted to the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Labour formal proposals to agree on some free days during the Summit. This week we have had several meetings with important Romanian travel agencies. They were encouraged to offer attractive touristic packages to the citizens in Bucharest during the mentioned period”, declared Mr. Micula for NewsIn, the Secretary of State in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the coordinator of NATO Bucharest Summit. The Summit organizers have already requested the Romanian authorities to agree on some free days for the state employees. Mr. Micula has added that there will be discussions with the main Bucharest malls in order to encourage them to have a sales period, and with the multiplexes to offer discount movie tickets and cinema ticket promotions. These measures are supposed to make people interested in the opportunities offered by malls and to allow traffic decongestion in the center of Bucharest”, the Secretary of State mentioned.  (Source: NewsIn)
