NATO Secretary General Jaap de Hoop Scheffer attended on Wednesday morning the opening of multimedia exhibition 'Securing our future' held at teh Parliament Palace.
this was the first issue on the Wednesday agenda opening NATO Summit in Bucharest, the largest in Alliance's history.
The display 'Defence against terrorism' was launched in the same exhibition.
The exhibition includes images from operation theaters where NATO participates with troops - Afghanistan and Iraq - aiming to increase the public's awareness on the importance of maintaining stability and security in the world.
The exhibition is presented in Bucharest by the NATO Public Diplomacy Department and was opened in middle March.
The exhibition explains the functioning of the Alliance and its actions, using video materials, photos, texts and an interactive electronic questionnaire as well as DVDs and free publications.
