US President George W Bush paid, on Wednesday, homage to the Romanian sergeant major Aurel Marcu who died in Afghanistan, in last September.
The White House leader assured the wife of the Romanian soldier, present in the hall of Bucharest-based CEC Palace, where Bush delivered a speech, of his entire respect and of the respect of the Allies.
Sergeant major Aurel Marcu, 31of age, died on Sept 6, 2007 while in an armored personnel carrier on mission in Zabul Province. He was in Posada Mountain Corps 33 Battalion.
