Serghei Lavrov: Bush-Putin meeting on the occasion of Bucharest Summit
The Presidents of Russia and of the United States of America, Vladimir Putin and George W. Bush, intend to meet, before the meeting of Soci on the 6th of April, on the occasion of NATO Summit in Bucharest, which the two political leaders will attend.   According to the Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Serghei Lavrov, the Russian and American Presidents will discuss issues concerning the anti-missile shield and the Treaty regarding the reduction of conventional forces in Europe (CFE), during the reunions of Soci and Bucharest.
George W. Bush announced on Wednesday that he has accepted Vladimir Putin's invitation to go, on the 6th of April, at Putin's holiday residence in Soci, after the NATO Summit held between 2nd and 4th of April in Romania, for discussions on the anti-missile American shield in Europe.
The Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Serghei Lavrov, has underlined, on Thursday, that the President of Russia and of the United States will discuss, on the occasion of the Reunion of Russia-NATO Council, which will take place during the Alliance Summit in Bucharest, but also at the meeting in Soci, all the key issues concerning the European security. "Our country, Russia and the United States have the main responsibility for the European and Euro-Atlantic security. The main files are anti-missile shield, CFE Treaty, Short-range ballistic missile and Medium-range ballistic missile, space demilitarization", also declared Serghei Lavrov.
