The Summit of the Young Atlantic Members
In the framework of the Bucharest NATO Summit, the Atlantic Council of the United States of America  and the Euro-Atlantic Council  of Romania- NATO House will organise “ The Summit of the Young Atlantic Members”, with the support of the Romanian Intelligence Service, during 1-5 of April 2008.
The reunion is important in itself as an event addressed first of all to the civil society, as well as a training forum for future specialists in the field of international security. As part of the The Summit of the Young Atlantic Members, approximately 120 future leaders, including journalists and students coming from the Alliance member states, as well as from the Peace Partnership countries will reunite to debate the issues on the NATO Summit agenda, as well as other hot issues on the international security agenda.
The participants will be involved in an intensive meeting programme with the leaders invited at the NATO Summit, and will exchange experience with a larger audience through video conferences, blogs and webcasts. The extended audience attending the Summit working sessions will be provided via a dedicated web -site, as well as through local and regional media coverage.
The « Network of Young Atlantic members » will be launched during the Summit, an on-line forum giving the young leaders the chance to continue the discussions on the challnges faced by the Euro-Atlantic Community, even after the NATO Summit.

Part of the Young Atlantic Members’ Summit will be organised in the specific academic environment provided by ANI, while some other activities, involving top personalities attending the NATO Summit, will be hosted by the Romanian Intelligence Service.
