Tăriceanu: I appreciate the involvment of the institutions dealing with the preparation of the NATO Summit
On Thursday Prime-minister Călin Popescu-Tăriceanu expressed his  satisfaction with the current stage of the NATO Summit preparations, which will be held in Bucharest in two weeks, and expressed his wish for the event  „to shed a favourable light on Romania”.
”I am pleased to notice, from the information I have, that the preparations are moving in the right direction, and I appreciate the deep involvement of the institutions. (...) We are interested for this reunion to shed a favourable light on Romania”, said the head of the Executive, in the beginning of the reunion organised at the Victoria Palace, meant to analize the current stage of the NATO Summit preparations.
The Premier underlined that the top-level reunion of the Alliance to be held in Bucharest must bring its contribution to the strengthening of NATO.
The reunion presided by Călin Popescu-Tăriceanu was attended by the Ministers of Foreign Affairs- Adrian Cioroianu, of Defense- Teodor Meleşcanu, of Economy and Finances- Varujan Vosganian, of Inteernal Affairs and Administrative Reform- Cristian David, by the coordinator of the Summit preparations- Sate Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affiars-Victor Micula, by Secretary of State - Stejărel Olaru, as well as by the head of the Prime-Minister’s Chancellary -Dorin Marian.
