The Media Center for the NATO Summit will occupy 5 floors from the Palace of Parliament
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Adrian Cioroianu, declared on Thursday, that a Media Center occupying 5 floors will be organised in the palace of Parliament to host the activity of the journalists accredited for the NATO Summit from Bucharest,.
According to the Minister, the center will comprise 1.000 work stations, two TV studios, other tow radio stations, 90 TV editing stations, as well as 25 radio editing stations.
16 conference rooms will be available, the biggest of which'C.A. Rosetti', hosting 400 seats, and other two rooms with a capacity of 120 seats each, other 4 rooms with 90 seats each, and the rest of the rooms endowed with  30-35 seats.
Adrian Cioroianu stated that about 3.500 foreign journalists are expected to attend the Summit.
Up to now, 2.425 requests were received in Bruselles, where accreditations are given, out of which 1.736 were analysed and received accreditation.  Currently Brussels receives over 200 requests a day, said Cioroianu.
He mentioned that the authorities are counting on the manner in which the Romanian press will reflect the event.
„We are counting on the manner in which the Romanian press will reflect the event and I am convinced that we’ll be able to present it together so as to reflect the importance of the event', siad the had of the Romanian diplomacy.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs reminded the fact that 25 allied countries will send delegations to Bucharest, from 23 state memebers of the Euro-Atlantic partnership Council, delegations of states contributing to the  Afghanistan mission, as well as emblematic representatives of prestigious international bodies, such as the World Bank, the European Comission:
„We’ll have approximetely 3.000 participants representing the political and military elite of the world. The budget assigned by authorities is 92,300 mil RON, equivalent of 25,6 mil EUR, with 17 public insitutions of Romania involved in the organization of the Summit', added Cioroianu.
