Cioroianu: There was a tight collaboration with the USA in view of the Summit preparation, as well as regarding the equipment needed
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Adrian Cioroianu, declared on Thursday that there was a tight collaboration with the USA, regarding personnel involved, preparation, as well as equipment needed for organizing the NATO Summit of Bucharest, but he also said this was not the right moment to give further details.
The Minister thus answered some questions regarding the cooperation with the USA for the preparation of the NATO Summit, after the Novinite.com web-site announced that approximately 500 American soldiers and 18 military planes are to arrive in Bulagaria, on an air space patrolling mission  over the Romanian capital during the Summit organised between 2-4 April.
Cioroianu also said that during the preparation period before the NATO Summit there were discussions held with the Allies concerning the air survaillnece collaboration, as well as concerning the anti-globalization and anti-NATO movements.
The Minister of Foreign Affiars said that the anti-globalization and anti-NATO movements are being monitored.
