Bush, expressed his support for Georgia’s accession in time to the North Atlantic Alliance, in spite of Russia’s opposition, specifying that this will be his message to the coming NATO Summit in Bucharest. “I believe that NATO benefits with a Georgia membership, I believe Georgia benefits from being a part of NATO. And I told the President it’s a message I’ll be taking to Bucharest soon”, to the Summit held on April 2 to 4, said President Bush after the discussions with the Georgian homologue, President Mihail Saakasvili, at the White House.
