Prime Minister Tariceanu to apologize to Bucharest inhabitants for any inconvenience caused by NATO Summit
On Wednesday, Prime Minister Călin Popescu-Tăriceanu asked the Bucharest inhabitants to show understanding for the measures taken by the authorities for the organisation of the NATO Summit and apologised, on behalf of the Government, for any 'inconvenience' caused by the planning of this meeting.
“I invite the citizens of Bucharest to show their understanding in the name of security. (...) I apologize on behalf of the Government and of the authorities for the inconvenience caused by the exceptional organisation and security measures, but these are mandatory measures taken by any country on the occasion of such a meeting”, stated Mr. Călin Popescu-Tăriceanu, at the end of the Government meeting.
